For more than 53 years, UNICEF has been helping governments, communities and families make the world a better place for children. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF is one of 37 national committees set up around the world to raise money for UNICEF, which works in more than 161 countries and territories providing heathcare, clean water, improved nutrition and education to millions of children in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and The Middle East. Our mission is to promote the survival, protection, and development of all children worldwide through fundraising, advocacy and education. The Seattle Chapter of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF is made up of volunteers who do everything from managing the UNICEF Gift Shop at The Bon Marche, to organizing fundraising events, like the Art of Change. We are dedicated to raising awareness to the needs of the world's children, and supporting the work of UNICEF in caring for those needs. |
